He interior design studio Barcelona by Miriam Barrio has been in charge of the reform of this 95 m2 apartment in Barcelona. A project baptized by the studio as "Brazilian breeze" in honor of its customers, a young Brazilian with a cheerful soul.
The young and cheerful character of the couple is reflected on the floor thanks to the use of bright colors on some walls and on the furniture (blue, orange ...) and the fluid arrangement of spaces.
After the reform housing completely transformed. From a previous very compartmentalized distribution, full of small cubicles, now the house has become an open concept space with a large central space.
The great transformation suffered mainly, the common and passing areas, which now converge in a large room that includes the kitchen with island, a large dining room and a lounge, which can be enjoyed in the company of many.
The use and combination of timber, very present in addition to the floor in some walls, with intense colors in this space make a clear mention to Brazil, a country full of nature, light, lots of color and, of course, carnival!
The epicenter of this room is the concrete pillar that was discovered to bring out its original texture, and from which it is born the large table and dining space.
Another of the elements that stand out in the tour is the use of large format mirrors in corners that help to enhance the architecture and elements of space, and with them they have also managed to broaden the feeling of spaciousness and luminosity.
The rooms and bathrooms they follow the aesthetics of the rest of the house where the wood is very present and where the cheerful touches of color are not lacking, as the cheerful yellow of the tiles.
