Are you looking for a different holiday accommodation? In Guilin, China, you can stay in this villa that plays with your senses

When we are on vacation, can travel and discover new places, cultures and people is a fortune that we should not miss as it is one of those things that will always remain in our memory. If you are looking for ideas on where to go for a vacation, China is a country that offers a lot for the traveler and the southern region is full of spectacular villages and landscapes.

It is precisely in the southern city of Guilin that we find a hotel / guest house called The Other Place Guilin Litopia, which proposes some quite surprising thematic experiences with bedrooms and villas specially designed to create an atmosphere that we will not soon forget. Among the various alternatives we are surprised by a totally surreal villa that uses optical illusions to make us live a rather curious fantasy.

The Maze is one of those villas whose particularity is to play with our senses by using optical illusions inspired by the graphic work of the Dutch artist M.C. Escher. With the use of just two colors, green and white, this villa takes us through a space where we do not know very well if we are up, down, at the exit or the entrance.

It is undoubtedly a very interesting realization and a curious experience for those who seek different accommodations that wake us up more than the typical hotel with its many stars and its hair dryer hanging on the bathroom wall.

Optical illusion is achieved through 2D and 3D built elements like stairs and shelves that don't take us anywhere or maybe they take us to the next room. An interesting mystery for some or a headache for others, but an experience that does not leave indifferent. If your vacations take you around those parts of the world, you can book your stay at The Maze villa for about 130 euros per night.
